Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesTrade Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and manage complete trading documents such as Proforma Invoices (PI), Letters of Credit (LC), Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, and other relevant paperwork.
- Ensure all documents comply with international trade standards, banking requirements, and local government regulations.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, banks, and related parties to ensure smooth processing.
- Communicate and coordinate with international suppliers, buyers, agents, and shipping companies.
- Maintain professional relationships with banks, government officials, customs authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
- Facilitate timely approvals, clearances, and payments related to imports and exports.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, supplies, and general administrative tasks.
- Assist in maintaining company records and files systematically.
- Support senior management with any required reporting and documentation.
- Monitor and manage the complete trade cycle — from purchase order issuance to goods delivery and payment settlement.
- Implement and maintain LIFO/FIFO inventory methods in the warehouse.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate stock records, timely stock movement, and proper storage.
- Generate stock reports and reconcile discrepancies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in trading companies, export-import, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of international trade documentation, LC processing, and customs compliance.
- Excellent communication skills to deal with banks, government offices, and foreign partners.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control methods (LIFO/FIFO).
