Job Description
Location: Taplejung (On-site)
We are looking for a competent and experienced Account Officer to join our team for a hydropower project site in Taplejung.
Requirements:- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with at least 2–3 years on hydropower project sites.
- Strong knowledge of VAT, TDS, payroll, reconciliation, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Swastik, or similar).
- Able to manage site-level finance operations independently.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Maintain daily financial records and ensure timely data entry.
- Handle vendor payments, payroll, and petty cash management.
- Coordinate with head office for monthly reports and audits.
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in budget preparation and cost tracking.
- Candidates with hydropower or infrastructure project experience.
- Willing to be stationed at Taplejung for the project duration.
