Position Overview:
The Business Operation Manager will be responsible for overseeing, planning, and managing the day-to-day business operations of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in business finance and operations, proven leadership experience, and strategic thinking capabilities to improve business performance. The candidate will also be expected to lead market analysis and forecasting efforts to support company growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and supervise daily operational activities across departments to ensure smooth and efficient business functioning.
- Oversee the coordination of fleet operations, staff allocation, route planning, and service delivery monitoring.
- Prepare and execute operational plans aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and business forecasting to support strategic decisions.
- Develop key operational metrics and regularly track performance against set KPIs.
- Coordinate with finance, HR, and technical departments for integrated workflow management.
- Identify process gaps and implement systems for improvement, efficiency, and compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports on operational performance and submit periodic business reviews to senior management.
- Provide leadership, motivation, and direction to cross-functional teams.
Qualification and Skills:
- CA or MBA (specialization in Operations, Finance, or Strategy preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business operations, preferably in the transportation, logistics, or service sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, forecasting, and market analysis.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
