We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Floor Operations Supervisor to manage our night operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth coordination between the kitchen, dispatch, and delivery teams. The Supervisor will lead night-floor activities, monitor performance, oversee food preparation and packing, ensure timely dispatch, and step in for deliveries when necessary.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes ownership, and can think on their feet during stressful situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate night kitchen activities: prioritize food preparation based on order urgency, guide kitchen staff on cooking sequences, and manage workflow.
- Supervise the dispatch process to ensure accuracy, presentation, and hygiene.
- Handle the delivery process: enter order details in tracking sheets, ensure timely dispatch, and manage real-time coordination with delivery riders.
- Confirm delivery riders have arrived and are dispatched on time; troubleshoot rider or delivery issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols across the kitchen and dispatch area.
- Take charge of night operations: resolve any operational disruptions or unexpected challenges.
- Assist with any out-of-routine tasks or requests to ensure seamless functioning of the night shift.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations management or supervisory roles, preferably in the food or hospitality sector.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and delivery/dispatch coordination.
- Basic proficiency in using spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take initiative and make quick decisions.
- Must be reliable, hands-on, and flexible with working hours.
