Position Overview
Shaurya Cement is looking for a skilled and experienced Automobile Engineer to oversee and manage our workshop operations at the mining site. If you're a hands-on professional with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and diagnostics, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations in the workshop and ensure timely service schedules.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools.
- Provide technical guidance to the maintenance team and ensure service quality.
- Perform vehicle inspections, assess repair needs, and oversee repair works.
- Maintain service records and coordinate with spare parts and service advisor teams.
- Ensure all operations meet safety and environmental standards.
- Assist in training junior technicians and stay updated with the latest automotive technologies.
- Perform root cause analysis for breakdowns and accurately raise spare part requirements.
- Comfortable with on-field hands-on work alongside the maintenance team.
- Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in workshop or vehicle service operations.
- Expertise in automotive systems and diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
