Kathmandu Organics is a mission-driven enterprise dedicated to promoting healthy, safe, and sustainable food. We work closely with smallholder farmers across Nepal to deliver high-quality natural products to conscious consumers through direct-to-home deliveries and institutional partnerships.


Role Overview

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue. Your focus will be to expand Kathmandu Organics’ reach, increase market presence, and support sales, marketing, and distribution efforts in alignment with our mission.


Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities (B2B, B2C, and institutional).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, retailers, restaurants, hotels, and partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations.
  • Conduct market research to track trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Coordinate with operations and delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service for new clients.
  • Maintain a database of leads, contacts, and sales reports.
  • Represent Kathmandu Organics in events, meetings, and forums.

  • Qualifications and Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field.
    • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (experience in FMCG, agri-business, or health & wellness sector is preferred).
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-driven, proactive, and goal-oriented.
    • Passionate about sustainable food systems and organic agriculture.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace. Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
