Position Overview

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for driving sales, market penetration, and brand presence for LAMINAR Tiles in the assigned territory. This role requires strong leadership in managing dealers, distributors, and key customer relationships while executing strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales & Business Growth
  • Develop and implement area sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify market opportunities and drive expansion in untapped territories.
  1. Dealer & Sub-Dealer Network Management
  • Appoint, onboard, and manage a robust network of dealers and sub dealers.
  • Strengthen existing partnerships to ensure consistent secondary sales and product availability.
  1. Market Development & Brand Promotion
  • Promote Laminar Tiles across retail channels, collaborate with marketing for BTL activities, in-shop branding, exhibitions, and campaigns.
  1. Customer Engagement & Support
  • Maintain strong relationships with retailers, masons, and end users.
  • Plan and execute Mason Meets in collaboration with dealers to promote Laminar products and educate on usage and benefits.
  1. Reporting & Forecasting
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, competitor analysis, and market insights.
  • Track performance against KPIs and ensure timely collections from the channel.
  1. Team Collaboration & Compliance
  • Coordinate with MIS, Accounts, and Marketing for smooth order execution.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing norms, and commercial terms.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in channel sales (preferably in tiles, ceramics, or building materials).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
