Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated QA Intern to join our mobile banking application team. As a QA Intern, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure our banking app meets the highest standards of quality, security, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in writing, reviewing, and executing test cases for mobile banking features (Android & iOS).
- Perform functional, UI/UX, regression, and smoke testing across mobile platforms.
- Identify, record, and track bugs using tools like Jira or similar.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team to understand requirements and reproduce issues.
- Support testing of REST APIs used by the mobile app using tools like Postman.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups).
- Provide feedback on app performance, usability, and security from an end-user perspective.
- Assist in preparing test data and environments.
- Learn and use automation tools (optional but preferred).
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Understanding of software testing concepts (manual and/or automated).
- Familiarity with mobile platforms (Android/iOS) and testing tools (e.g., Postman, BrowserStack, Firebase).
- Basic knowledge of bug tracking systems like Jira.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Exposure to mobile banking or fintech domain.
- Experience writing basic test scripts using Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience testing a real-world, secure, and scalable mobile banking platform.
