Cedar Gate Services is looking for two Associate HR Officers to join our team. In this role, you will play a key role in managing recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates and new hires. You will also be responsible for supporting a range of administrative HR functions that contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Human Resources department.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support the full-cycle recruitment process by screening and shortlisting applications, maintaining recruitment trackers, coordinating interviews, and facilitating candidate communication
- Draft and publish job vacancy announcements on ADP and LinkedIn; collaborate with the design team to create engaging visuals for Facebook and other platforms
- Develop and maintain job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with business needs
- Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and coordinate with hiring managers throughout the vacancy lifecycle, from posting to selecting
- Respond to career-related queries received through the Nepal Career and Cedar Gate Career platforms, ensuring timely and professional responses
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess hiring effectiveness and support data-driven decision-making
- Monitor new hire survey feedback and follow up promptly on any concerns to enhance the onboarding experience
- Deliver employee handbook presentations to new hires, clearly communicating company values, policies, and culture
- Maintain and update accurate employee records, files, and documentation, and regularly auditing them to ensure compliance standards and adherence to company policies
- Update employee data in the HRMS, including personal information, shift schedules, attendance, and leave records
- Prepare and issue HR documentation such as offer letters, confirmation letters, and promotion letters
- Respond to HR-related employee queries and ensure timely resolution or appropriate escalation when needed
- Support and coordinate HR initiatives and employee engagement activities to foster a positive workplace culture
- Collaborate with HR team members to ensure seamless execution of daily operations and HR projects
- Supervise the Replicon time-tracking tool and ADP HCM tool, providing user support and resolving issues promptly
- Represent the company at employer branding activities such as career fairs, student industry visits, and professional events
- Bachelor's degree in management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferably with a specialization in HR)
- At least 1 year of experience in HR or recruitment roles is preferred
- Familiarity with Nepal’s Labor Law is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with HR software (e.g., ADP) is an advantage
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong time-management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in taking on new tasks and challenges as needed
