The Inventory and Systems Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory control, optimizing operational processes, and maintaining system efficiency to support Smarten Technologies’ business objectives. This role involves overseeing inventory accuracy, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless system operations to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across multiple locations.
- Conduct regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations to minimize discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, or overages.
- Implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Administer and maintain inventory management software and related operational systems.
- Ensure system data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with IT for resolutions.
- Generate and analyze reports on inventory levels, turnover, and operational performance.
- Train and support team members on system usage and best practices.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of new software or system upgrades.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory and system workflows.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements to reduce manual efforts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with Finance, Sales, and Customer Support teams to align inventory and system operations with business needs.
- Support supply chain and logistics teams with data-driven insights for decision-making.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience:
- 2+ years in inventory management, operations, or systems administration.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and data analysis tools.
