Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Infrastructure Intern to support day-to-day technical operations, including system maintenance, technical support, and documentation. This role offers hands-on experience with IT systems, networks, and security, while working closely with experienced professionals to develop practical skills in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
Assist in providing first-level technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
Help set up and configure workstations, laptops, and other devices
System Maintenance:
Assist in monitoring and maintaining IT systems, including servers, networks, and databases.
Perform routine updates, patches, and backups under supervision.
Documentation:
Help create and update IT documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting manuals, and system configurations.
Security Support:
Assist in implementing and monitoring security measures, such as but not limited to Endpoint Protection and firewalls.
Help enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security.
IT Assistance:
Support IT projects, such as but not limited to system upgrades or network expansions.
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on time.
Learning and Development:
Gain exposure to IT tools, systems, and best practices.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and networking.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Exposure to IT security principles and helpdesk tools.
Basic experience with scripting (Bash, PowerShell) or automation.
Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management and security.
Exposure to enterprise-level IT systems, networking, and cloud technologies.
