Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tour Manager located in Kathmandu. The Tour Manager will be responsible for planning and organizing trekking tours, coordinating with guides and trekking staff, managing transportation and accommodation logistics, ensuring the safety and well-being of trekkers, and handling any on-tour issues or emergencies. The Tour Manager will also be responsible for customer service, ensuring clients have an excellent trekking experience from start to finish.
Qualifications
- Experience in planning and organizing tours, including logistics and coordination
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle client concerns and issues
- Knowledge of trekking routes, local geography, and culture in Nepal
- Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- First aid training and knowledge of safety protocols in trekking
- Previous experience in the tourism or adventure travel industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
