A leading Hospitality company in Kathmandu is looking for a dedicated and organized Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping department. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our facilities are pristine, welcoming, and perfectly maintained.


Position: Housekeeping Manager

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Negotiable

Reports to: Director of Operations / General Manager


Key Responsibilities:

* Departmental Leadership: Lead, train, schedule, and supervise the entire housekeeping team (room attendants, public area cleaners, laundry staff).

* Quality Assurance: Develop and implement rigorous cleaning standards and procedures. Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our quality benchmarks.

* Inventory Management: Manage and control inventory of cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens. Oversee laundry operations to ensure efficiency and quality.

* Budgetary Control: Prepare and manage the departmental budget, including labor costs and supplies, ensuring operations are cost-effective.

* Guest Services: Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring guest satisfaction.

* Maintenance Coordination: Work closely with the maintenance department to report and follow up on any repairs or maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas.

* Safety & Compliance: Ensure all staff adhere to health and safety regulations, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals.


Qualifications & Experience:

* 3-5+ years of proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or Executive Housekeeper, preferably in a hotel or high-end service establishment.

* Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.

* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

* Solid knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning products, and equipment.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

* Diploma or degree in Hospitality or a related field is an advantage.
