Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Visa Counselor, located on-site in Dhapasi. The Visa Counselor will be responsible for providing comprehensive guidance to clients on visa applications, documentation requirements, and interview preparation. Day-to-day tasks include assessing client eligibility, assisting with application forms, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of immigration policies, and ensuring smooth processing of visa applications. The Visa Counselor will also liaise with embassies and consulates, provide clients with the latest immigration updates, and support clients throughout their visa application process.


Responsibility

  • Counsel clients on visa options and requirements for New Zealand & Australia.
  • Assess eligibility and recommend suitable visa categories.
  • Guide clients in preparing and reviewing documents.
  • Lodge visa applications via official NZ & AUS immigration portals.
  • Track and follow up on application status with relevant authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with immigration regulations and policy updates.
  • Maintain accurate client records and case files.
  • Provide pre-departure and post-visa support.


Specification

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Law, International Relations, or related field).
  • Experience: 1–3 years in visa counseling, immigration, or migration services.
  • Knowledge: New Zealand & Australia visa categories, eligibility criteria, and application processes.
  • Skills: Strong communication, documentation, and client service skills.
  • Technical: Proficient in MS Office and online visa application portals.
  • Other Requirements: Detail-oriented, ethical, and compliant with IAA (NZ) & OMARA (AUS) regulations or willing to obtain license/registration.
