Fonepay connects Banking and Financial Institutions, Digital Wallets, Consumers, and Merchants in its interoperable network and facilitates various Person-to-Person (P2P) and Person-to-Merchant (P2M) payments and offers other services aligning with instant, easy and convenient money movement. This interoperable network connects over 60+ partners with over 20mn + registered customers and 1.7mn + merchants in Nepal. Fonepay QR is EMV compliant, which is the most widely accepted standard for QR payments.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist Product Manager throughout all product phases — ideation, development, testing, launch, and post-launch support.
  • Serve as a liaison between product, engineering, design, QA, marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure alignment and timely execution. 
  • Regularly update product backlogs, user stories, and related documentation in tools like Jira or Confluence, ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • Track ongoing tasks, highlight bottlenecks, follow up on pending actions, and ensure smooth workflow within sprints or development cycles
  • Schedule and document meetings such as stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and product reviews. Share clear notes and action points
  • Support release management by aligning with QA, DevOps, and stakeholders for testing, deployment, documentation, and Go-Live readiness
  • Gather, organize, and analyze user feedback, support tickets, and usage data to support product enhancement decisions
  • Help the product team stay informed with research on market trends, competitor features, and user behavior insights
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports on feature progress, KPIs, and team velocity to assist Product Managers in tracking performance
  • Coordinate with internal teams (like support, operations, and training) to prepare documentation, training materials, and knowledge sharing for new releases


Requirement: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or any relevant field
  • Prior Years of Experience required: 3 years


Required Technical Skills:

  • Agile Methodologies
  • Agile Development Practices 
  • Knowledge of any kind of Product Management Tools like Figma, Miro etc.  
  • Knowledge of any kind of Project management Tools like Jira, Trello, Zoho, etc. 
  • Basic Programming Knowledge 
  • Familiarity with Development Tools such as version control systems (e.g., Git), issue tracking tools, etc. 
  • Understanding of Technical Debt 
  • Database Concepts 
  • API Understanding 
  • Web Technologies 
  • Cybersecurity Awareness
