We are seeking a dynamic Area Business Manager to lead the sales and distribution of our advanced medical equipment portfolio (e.g., imaging systems, surgical devices, diagnostics) across hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions in your assigned territory. You will drive revenue growth while ensuring optimal product adoption and customer satisfaction.
✔ Business Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute territory-specific sales plans to achieve quarterly targets
- Expand market share for:
- Diagnostic equipment (Ultrasound, X-ray, ECG)
- Therapeutic devices (Ventilators, Dialysis machines)
- Hospital infrastructure (OT tables, Lights)
- Identify and convert 50+ new prospects annually
✔ Key Account Management
- Build strategic relationships with:
- Hospital procurement teams
- Government medical colleges
- Private healthcare chains
- NGOs/Development partners
- Manage 10-15 high-value accounts
✔ Team Leadership
- Lead 5-8 sales representatives and clinical application specialists
- Conduct weekly performance reviews
- Organize product training for sales teams
✔ Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities (GE, Siemens, Philips)
- Analyze healthcare infrastructure projects
- Provide quarterly demand forecasts
✔ Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to:
- DDA medical device regulations
- Import/registration requirements
- Ethical marketing practices
◼ Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering/Business (MBA preferred)
◼ 3+ years selling high-value medical equipment
◼ Technical Expertise:
- Equipment specifications and clinical applications
- Tender/bidding processes
- Healthcare procurement cycles
◼ Key Competencies:
- Consultative selling to doctors/hospitals
- Contract negotiation skills
- Fluency in English/Nepali (medical terminology)
◼ Travel Requirement:
- 60% field travel within assigned region
