Job Title: Sales and Marketing Head
Department: Sales and Marketing
Location: Corporate Office, Kathmandu
Reports To: Managing Director
Industry: Alcoholic Beverages/ Distillery
The Sales and Marketing Head will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans to expand the market presence of the distillery’s products. This role demands leadership in driving revenue growth, building brand awareness, managing key accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements specific to the liquor industry.
· Develop and implement national and regional sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
· Identify new markets, segments, and distribution opportunities.
· Build and manage a high-performing sales team (including regional and area sales managers).
· Monitor and analyze sales performance; adjust strategies accordingly.
· Develop pricing, channel, and volume strategies with input from finance and production.
· Build relationships with key distributors, retailers, and institutional buyers.
· Coordinate with production and logistics to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
Marketing:· Lead brand strategy, positioning, and promotional campaigns.
· Plan and execute marketing campaigns (print, digital, BTL, events, and trade shows).
· Oversee packaging, labeling, and brand identity to align with market trends and compliance.
· Collaborate with creative agencies and vendors to develop marketing materials.
· Manage social media, website, and other digital platforms to engage consumers.
· Monitor competitors and conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Compliance & Coordination:· Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with local excise and legal regulations.
· Work closely with legal, finance, and production departments for smooth operations.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
· 8+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in liquor/alcoholic beverage industries.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing brand campaigns.
· Strong network in the liquor distribution channel is a plus.
· Knowledge of Nepal’s excise policies and compliance processes is preferred.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
· Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
