Experience: 4–5 years in a managerial role within the manufacturing sector
Salary: Nrs. 1,00,000 – 1,10,000
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts/Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with local and international accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure timely and accurate entry of all financial transactions
Monitor compliance with statutory and internal accounting standards (NAS, IFRS)
Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts
Monitor variances and report on financial performance
Support department heads with cost control and budget compliance
Ensure proper handling of VAT, TDS, Excise, and other applicable taxes
Liaise with external auditors, government authorities, and tax consultants
Ensure regulatory compliance with local financial laws and reporting standards
Coordinate with the production and store team to maintain inventory accuracy
Implement and monitor costing systems for raw materials and finished goods
Analyze cost variances and recommend cost-control strategies
Supervise and guide the accounting and finance team
Implement internal controls and audit mechanisms
Provide training and performance evaluations for team members
Provide financial insights and analysis to support management decisions
Assist in identifying financial risks and opportunities for the business
Contribute to strategic initiatives such as expansion or automation
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; ACCA preferred
4–5 years of experience in a managerial accounting/finance role in the manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar ERP)
Excellent understanding of Nepalese tax laws and financial regulations
Leadership and team management skills
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
