Summary

Cedar Gate Services is looking for a Software Engineer ( .Net ) to join our team. I n this role, you will be responsible for writing well-designed, efficient, and testable codes using the .NET framework. This role involves analyzing requirements, contributing to technical design, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting the continuous improvement of software development practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements
• Provide technical guidance during project planning and execution
• Write clean, maintainable, and industry-standard code using .NET
• Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality
• Perform code reviews to uphold development standards and share best practices
• Debug and resolve software defects and issues
• Produce and review technical documentation
• Guide and mentor junior Software Engineers
• Continuously contribute to improving software development processes and practices
• Perform other related tasks as assigned
  
  

Required Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2+ years of work experience in .NET programming
• Hands on knowledge of .NET Programming languages [C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET]
• Experience in relational databases and schema design
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
• Experience developing responsive layouts
• Good troubleshooting abilities
• Experience with version control software
• Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience working on large, highly scalable applications
• Experience working with and/or designing RESTful APIs
• Experience in .NET Core 5/6, Blazor
• Experience in NoSQL Database like Raven DB
• Experience working with cloud technologies like AWS and Azure
• Understanding of transport protocols including SOAP, MSMQ, FTP
• Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and Microservices Architecture
