Job Description
Job SummaryJoin our SchoolOne team as a Technical Support Engineer to onboard schools onto our SaaS platform, deliver user training, troubleshoot issues, and implement workarounds, all while collaborating with clients and our development team to roll out new features.
Key Responsibilities
• Onboarding & Training: Travel to schools, run live demos, workshops, and create quick‑start guides for school staff.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Address inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system; resolve minor bugs and escalate complex issues.
• Configuration & Workarounds: Set up and configure school; customize workflows and devise practical fixes.
• Feedback & Improvement: Collect user feedback, suggest product enhancements, and coordinate with engineering on new features.
• Data Handling & Reporting: Manage data imports/exports and generate custom reports.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science (BS.IT, CS.IT, BCA, BE, or equivalent)
• 0–2 years in technical support, customer service, or training—SaaS experience a plus
Skills
• Technical: Understanding software architecture, databases, web apps; familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and any backend language.
• Communication: Clear verbal/written English; strong presentation skills.
• Data & Analysis: Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning).
• Problem‑Solving: Detail‑oriented, methodical troubleshooting, customer‑first approach.
• Collaboration: Team player who thrives in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
