The Maintenance Head will oversee the complete maintenance function across Hulas Iron & Hulas Infra plants in Birgunj. The role requires strategic leadership in preventive and predictive maintenance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the reliability of heavy industrial machinery, galvanizing lines, rolling equipment, furnaces, cranes, and plant utilities.

• Develop and implement the comprehensive maintenance strategy (preventive, predictive, and corrective) across all plants.
• Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary maintenance teams.
• Drive a culture of safety, discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure maximum uptime of galvanizing lines, rolling mills, furnaces, compressors, cranes, and auxiliary equipment.
• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures through root cause analysis.
• Manage spare parts planning, vendor relationships, and AMC contracts.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen, and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.

• Ensure strict compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation for inspections, audits, and ISO standards.
• Work closely with production, project, and procurement teams for smooth plant operations.

• Optimize maintenance budgets without compromising reliability.
• Track and improve KPIs such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), and OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency).
• Introduce modern tools and systems for predictive maintenance (IoT, sensors, CMMS).

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering.
• 10–15 years of proven experience in heavy industries (steel, infra, galvanizing, rolling mills, or large manufacturing plants).
• Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and instrumentation systems.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale maintenance operations.
• Hands-on experience in preventive/predictive maintenance and reliability engineering.
• Familiarity with ERP-based maintenance modules (SAP preferred).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
