About The CompanyIndustry & Sector: Hospitality — Full-service hotel operations and guest services in Nepal, focused on rooms, food & beverage, events and corporate travel. We are hiring an on-site sales leader to drive room revenue, group & MICE bookings, and strategic partnerships across domestic and international markets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and execute the hotel sales strategy to maximise room revenue, group bookings, MICE and F&B event sales across Nepal and feeder markets.
- Develop and grow corporate accounts, travel agents, tour operators and channel partners; negotiate contracts and close high-value bookings.
- Prospect, qualify and convert leads—focus on direct sales, corporate panels, government and large-group opportunities to reduce OTA dependence.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, monthly revenue reports and pipeline updates; collaborate with revenue management to optimise rates and yield.
- Plan and execute sales campaigns, site inspections and client events; partner with marketing to produce targeted offers and digital promotions.
- Maintain CRM and PMS records, ensure follow-ups, manage RFPs and lead cross-functional coordination with operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Must-Have:
- 3+ years' proven sales experience in hotels/resorts or hospitality (on-site role) with demonstrable revenue targets achieved.
- Strong corporate & group sales track record, comfortable negotiating contracts and managing end-to-end sales cycles.
- Practical knowledge of CRM/PMS systems (Opera or equivalent) and basic revenue/yield management principles (RevPAR focus).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali; strong presentation and client-facing abilities.
- Preferred:
- Experience selling MICE, weddings, and large F&B events; local market network across Nepal and regional inbound channels.
- Familiarity with OTA/channel management, corporate travel portals and digital sales techniques.
- On-site role with clear revenue targets, commissions/bonuses tied to sales performance.
