Job Title: Business Head – EV Bus Division
Department: Sales and Marketing
Location: Kathmandu
Reporting To: Managing Director
Summary:
The Business Head – EV Bus Division will lead and oversee all strategic, operational, and commercial aspects of the Electric Bus business. This role will be responsible for driving sales growth, executing marketing strategies, managing daily operations, and ensuring successful market positioning and expansion of the EV Bus segment.
Responsibilities:
EV Bus Sales, Marketing, and Operations Oversight
- Manage end-to-end sales process for electric buses, including lead generation, client negotiations, and post-sales service coordination.
- Ensure smooth coordination between sales, marketing, supply chain, and service teams for seamless operations.
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective measures when required.
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and ensure effective execution through the sales team.
- Identify new business opportunities, including public and private sector projects.
Monthly Key Activity Planning
- Design and execute monthly sales and marketing activity plans, including campaigns, roadshows, demos, and key account engagements.
- Monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports for senior leadership.
- Align team efforts with ongoing and upcoming product launches or market changes.
Marketing, Expansion, and Positioning
- Lead branding, promotion, and awareness-building initiatives for EV Buses.
- Identify strategic locations for market expansion and dealership networks.
- Position the EV Bus segment as a sustainable and cost-effective solution in the public and private transport sectors.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to tailor messaging and promotional content that resonates with target stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in automotive or electric vehicle industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of handling large-scale sales and marketing operations.
- Strong understanding of electric vehicle technology, public transport systems, and government procurement processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience in EV bus or commercial vehicle segment.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and large-scale deployments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and government liaison capability.
