Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineering Manager located in Kathmandu. The Senior Software Engineering Manager will oversee daily software development activities, lead a team of engineers, design software solutions, manage projects, and ensure the robustness of distributed systems. Responsibilities include mentoring team members, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team of engineers to deliver high-quality software.
- Oversee technical strategy, architecture, and decision-making for both frontend (React) and backend (C#, .NET, Python).
- Focus on team management, ensuring smooth delivery of projects, and maintaining high standards of quality.
- Drive collaboration across engineering, product, and design teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflows.
- Foster a culture of creativity, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team.
You are a great fit if you have:
- 8-10 years of experience in software development and technical leadership.
- Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET, React, and Python.
- Proven ability to manage teams without direct supervision, ensuring they stay motivated and focused on high-impact work.
- A creative mindset with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps practices.
- Background in leading remote or distributed teams.
