Fellowship Overview

The WiredCircuit Robotics Fellowship is an immersive, hands-on program designed for students, hobbyists, and early-career professionals passionate about robotics, embedded systems, and IoT. Fellows will work closely with our engineering and training teams to design, build, and deploy robotics solutions, while also contributing to educational content and workshops for schools.

This is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to deepen their technical skills, gain real-world project experience, and be part of Nepal’s growing robotics and IoT ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and prototype educational robotics projects using Arduino, sensors, motors, and microcontrollers
  • Collaborate on developing new robotics kits and improving existing hardware/software components
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions in schools and local communities
  • Assist in curriculum development for STEM programs
  • Document and publish project work (videos, tutorials, write-ups, GitHub repos, etc.)
  • Participate in brainstorming, testing, and demo sessions with the WiredCircuit team
What You’ll Learn
  • Fundamentals of robotics, electronics, and embedded systems
  • Prototyping using Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensors, actuators, and 3D printed components
  • Programming in C/C++ or Python for hardware control
  • How to teach and present robotics concepts to students
  • Exposure to product development life cycles from idea to deployment
  • Community engagement and technical content development
Minimum Requirements
  • Recent graduates of a high school diploma program or current students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or any STEM-related field
  • Basic knowledge of electronics and programming (Arduino or similar platforms)
  • Strong interest in robotics, STEM education, and innovation
  • Willingness to travel for school outreach (if required)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)
  • Experience with 3D printing or CAD tools
  • Prior teaching or workshop facilitation experience
  • Familiarity with IoT devices or wireless communication modules (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, ESP32)
Program Structure
  • Week 1–2: Orientation + Training on core tools and platforms
  • Week 3–6: Project work + school-based training support
  • Midpoint Review: Progress check-in and mentorship session
  • Final Month: Project showcase + community showcase + final report
