Job Description
The role of Sales Supervisor will be responsible for promoting and selling company’s products within a designated market. He/she will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, execute communicated strategies that drive brand awareness, generate leads, and increase market share. The primary objective will be to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities
Territory Management: Manage the designated sales territory, including identifying potential customers, establishing and maintaining customer relationships, and maximizing sales opportunities within the assigned area.
Customer Acquisition: Actively prospect and generate leads to acquire new customers within the assigned territory. Conduct cold calls, visit potential clients, and deliver persuasive sales presentations to secure new business.
Sales Target Achievement & Execution: Execute as per territory sales plan to achieve sales targets and objectives, effectively manage time and resources to meet sales goals, actively engagae in retailing/secondary sales.
Product Knowledge and Demonstration: Gain in-depth knowledge of the company's products or services and effectively communicate their features, benefits, and value propositions.
Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business. Regularly communicate with customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, and address any concerns or issues.
Sales Negotiation and Closing: Conduct negotiations with customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements, including pricing, payments terms, and contracts. Close sales deals by securing purchase orders or signed contracts.
Sales Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, leads, and sales opportunities in systems using designated tools. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and sales performance reports.
Qualifications
1. Academic Qualification: 10+2 (Bachelors Preferred)
2. Relevant Experience: Minimum 2 years in FMCG Sales & Distribution
