Job Description
Job Responsibilities:- Assist in building OTT platform applications for Android using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Collaborate with senior developers to create UI components and implement application features using MVVM architecture.
- Support media playback integration (ExoPlayer).
- Handle asynchronous tasks (API calls, data fetching) using Coroutines.
- Write and maintain unit tests and basic UI test cases.
- Work with cross-functional teams (design, QA, backend) to deliver features on time.
- Help identify and fix bugs and performance issues.
- Stay updated on Android development trends and participate in team learning.
- 1+ year Kotlin development experience (with at least one published app/project preferred).
- Basic knowledge of Jetpack Compose for UI development.
- Familiarity with Coroutines, suspend functions, and asynchronous programming.
- Exposure to MVVM architecture (ViewModel, LiveData, StateFlow).
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Version control experience with Git.
- Exposure to writing JUnit or Mockito test cases.
- Willingness to learn Dependency Injection (Hilt).
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Passion for media and OTT technologies.
