Job Overview


We are looking for an experienced LLM & AI Solutions Engineer to develop and optimise AI applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). You will work on fine-tuning models, building backend services, integrating vector databases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance AI solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about generative AI and deploying real-world machine learning systems.


Key responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain machine learning models and algorithms
  • Write and test code for AI applications
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design AI solutions
  • Optimise AI models for performance and accuracy
  • Analyze and improve existing AI systems
  • Create visualizations and reports to communicate project progress and findings
  • Design and build applications powered by LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Mistral).
  • Develop APIs and backend services to support LLM-based features.
  • Fine-tune open-source language models using custom datasets.
  • Implement prompt engineering strategies for specific use cases.
  • Evaluate and optimize model performance, latency, and accuracy.
  • Work with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma) and retrieval techniques (RAG).
  • Collaborate with frontend, data, and product teams to deliver robust AI solutions

 

Required Skills:


  • Strong proficiency in Python and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of generative models (GANs, VAEs, LLMs) and NLP
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and data pre-processing techniques
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and AI deployment (AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills


Preferred Qualification:


  • Bachelor’s or master's in computer engineering, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field.
  • Experience with tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack.
  • Experience with vector databases or document search pipelines (RAG).
  • Contributions to open-source LLM/NLP projects are a strong plus
