Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Level QA engineer to oversee our quality assurance team. You will be required to oversee all aspects of software and product testing within the company. This may include developing test strategies, drawing up test documents, identifying faults, and reviewing QA reports.
Job Descriptions
- Lead the QA team and oversee the full QA lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Design, create, analyze, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for various software components.
- Estimate test effort using industry-standard techniques such as Use Case Point analysis.
- Coordinate and manage QA tasks in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Conduct manual testing of web and server-side applications with a focus on quality and usability.
- Perform various types of testing: Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Integration testing.
- Develop and maintain automation test suites using tools like Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Django Tests, and Nightwatch.
- Track and manage bugs and issues using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, GitLab, and Slack.
- Conduct API testing using Postman and similar tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure smooth QA processes.
- Review test plans, identify process improvements, and ensure best QA practices are followed.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Software QA, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or senior role.
- Proven experience in server-side testing and web application testing.
- Proficiency in manual testing, test plan creation, test case design, and execution.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Appium).
- Experience with Defect Tracking Tools: JIRA, Bugzilla, GitLab, etc.
- Familiarity with API Testing tools like Postman.
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead QA processes independently.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
