Position: Automobile Mechanic 

Location: Mirchaya, Siraha

Position Overview:

Join the dynamic team at Shaurya Cement Industries Limited as an Automobile Mechanic and take charge of maintaining and servicing a wide range of vehicles and machinery at our mining site. We’re looking for hands-on professionals with strong mechanical skills and a proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake checks, tire replacements, and engine tune-ups.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.

• Replace or repair faulty components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and brake parts.

• Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to ensure optimal safety and performance.

• Accurately complete job cards, service reports, and maintenance records.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and organized work environment.

• Follow all workshop safety protocols and procedures.

• Coordinate with supervisors and service advisors to update on work progress.

• Stay updated on new repair techniques and automotive technologies.

Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering or equivalent technical certification.

• 5–6 years of hands-on experience in a vehicle workshop or service center.

• Strong understanding of automotive systems – engine, suspension, brakes, transmission, and electrical.

• Skilled in using diagnostic tools and standard workshop equipment.

• Physically fit and comfortable working in a field-based, hands-on environment.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with both petrol and diesel engines.

• Familiarity with modern vehicle diagnostic systems (e.g., OBD-II).

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.

• Basic computer literacy for updating service logs (optional).
