As a Business Central Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations for international clients across industries. You will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business needs, design robust solutions, and ensure seamless system adoption. This is a client-facing role requiring business acumen, solution expertise, and strong collaboration with technical and project teams.
- Analyze customer business requirements and recommend solutions based on industry best practices.
- Conduct workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with customers to identify and prioritize business needs.
- Configure Business Central to meet customer needs, including setting up financials, inventory, purchasing, sales, and other modules.
- Configure Business Central to support complex business processes, such as multi-company, multi-currency, and multi-language environments.
- Collaborate with technical consultants to design and develop customizations, integrations, and reports.
- Participate in the design and development of data migration and integration strategies between legacy systems and Business Central.
- Develop and maintain business process documentation, including workflow diagrams and standard operating procedures.
- Provide guidance and advice to customers on best practices for implementing and utilizing Business Central.
- Conduct user training and provide ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of the system.
- Develop test scenarios and conduct system testing to ensure that Business Central is configured correctly and meets customer requirements.
- Participate in system testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure high standards of delivery.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the customer's satisfaction.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project plans, manage timelines, and ensure project success.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist with pre-sales activities, including presenting demos, analyzing customer pain points, and contributing to proposal development.
- Provide thought leadership on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in Business Central and other relevant Microsoft technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV).
- Solid understanding of core business processes, including finance, supply chain, procurement, and inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in writing functional documentation and conducting user training.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
