Job Title: Data Analytics Engineer

Location: Remote

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Engineer to join our team, responsible for creating and maintaining reports and visualizations that transform complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong analytical skills to develop reporting solutions that meet business requirements.

This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by delivering insights that drive business decisions through effective data visualization and reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Tableau, SSRS, and other reporting tools
• Implement and manage data integration processes using SSIS
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualizations
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms
• Migrate existing reports to new data sources while maintaining functionality
• Document reporting processes and standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues
• Stay current with industry best practices in data visualization

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience with Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and reports
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for report development
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL processes
• Solid SQL programming skills
• Understanding of data modeling and database structures
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with Snowflake – querying and creating procedures and functions. Knowledge of Athena
• Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience migrating report data sources and updating existing reports
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and architecture
• Familiarity with additional BI tools (AWS QuickSight, Power BI, QlikView, etc.)
• Understanding of business intelligence best practices
• Experience in a financial services or regulated industry
• Python experience and familiarity with Pandas library
