Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite)
Work Hours: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid foundation in both manual and automated testing practices. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for various software components.
- Perform API testing and automation using tools like Postman and scripting languages.
- Conduct database testing by writing and validating SQL queries.
- Apply manual testing concepts to identify bugs and ensure product quality.
- Utilize performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) to conduct load and stress testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Maintain and improve automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in coding challenges and algorithmic thinking.
- Proficiency in any programming language (preferably Python).
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with API automation and tools like Postman.
- Hands-on experience in SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with manual testing methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of performance testing tools and concepts.
- General understanding of cloud computing platforms and services.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
- Certification in software testing or cloud technologies is a plus.
