Role Description:

Midas Health Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and skilled CodeIgniter/ Laravel developer for junior and mid level position to join our team. This full-time, on-site position in Kathmandu involves working on the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and high-performance software solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance software solutions.
• Implement new features and functionalities according to project requirements.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and address bugs and ensure robust software quality.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and architecture.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Optimize existing codebase for improved performance and scalability.
• Work closely with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Communicate effectively within the team to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for software solutions and systems.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance development processes.

Skills:

• Proficiency in relevant programming language. ( PHP and PHP based frameworks like CodeIgniter, Laravel etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of web development technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Strong expertise in working with relational databases and SQL.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior developers.
• Proven ability to analyze and solve complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to the success of projects.

Education:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 1 - 2.5 years of experience in software development.
