Salary Range: NPR 50,000 – 80,000 per month

Job Description (JD)The Plant and Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all day-to-day operations of the production plant located in Buwal. The role includes planning, coordinating, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure timely and cost-effective production while maintaining quality standards. The candidate will play a key role in managing raw materials, equipment, production schedules, and a team of workers to achieve company goals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the overall production operations at the feed manufacturing plant.
- Monitor daily plant operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet demand and delivery timelines.
- Oversee raw material procurement, inventory management, and cost control.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Manage feed formulation processes and ensure adherence to quality control protocols.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems such as ISO.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Supervise and train production team members to enhance skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in plant operations and production management, preferably in animal feed or a related manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record in managing a feed mill or similar facility.
- Experience with feed formulation, quality control, and raw material handling.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of production machinery and feed mill equipment.
- Familiarity with implementing ISO or other quality systems.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, factory-based environment.
