We are seeking a Credit Analyst with expertise in the Australian mortgage industry to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting brokers and clients by performing detailed credit assessments, managing applications, and ensuring a smooth processing experience until settlement. Key Responsibilities

  • Document Verification: Ensure all client documents are accurate and compliant with lender requirements.
  • Lender Policy Research and Recommendations: Research lender policies to provide tailored recommendations based on client needs.
  • Borrowing Capacity Calculations: Conduct accurate assessments of clients' borrowing capacity.
  • Funding Position Preparation: Prepare and present comprehensive funding analyses for clients.
  • Living Expenses Analysis: Review and assess clients' living expenses to support credit applications.
  • Application Packaging: Compile and package loan applications for submission.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with lenders, brokers, Business Development Managers (BDMs), and customers to maintain seamless communication.
  • Data Entry and Lodgement: Accurately input data into CRM platforms and ApplyOnline, ensuring all supporting documents are uploaded.
  • Valuations and Pricing: Order property valuations and coordinate pricing negotiations.
  • Form Preparation: Prepare First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) and discharge forms as required.
  • File Management: Manage client files and conduct follow-ups to ensure successful settlements.
  • Ad-hoc Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications And Skills Required

  • Education: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
  • Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a credit role within the Australian mortgage industry is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with various Aggregators' CRM systems such as Mercury (M5 & Nexus), My CRM, and ApplyOnline.
