Job Description

Digital Consulting Venture is supporting a client in the healthcare equipment industry. The client will act as a wholesaler, supplying hospitals, aged care centres, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers. In addition to sales and hire services, the project requires a secure internal portal for partners to log in and place orders directly.

We are seeking a highly skilled Website & Digital Experience Specialist to design, develop, and launch a professional, scalable, and compliant website that will serve as the cornerstone of the client’s digital presence and growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Website Development & Design

• Develop and launch a professional e-commerce website aligned with the client’s brand identity.
• Build core functionalities including:
• Shop: Online sales of healthcare equipment.
• Hire Service: Integration of short- and long-term equipment hire options.
• Transport & Delivery: Options for customer logistics during checkout.
• Portal: Secure login for hospitals, aged care facilities, and pharmacies to place bulk or direct orders.

2. Information Architecture & Content

Create dedicated sections for:

• Supplier details, accreditations, and compliance.
• NDIS-approved provider status and integration of NDIS payment processes.
• Dedicated portal for pharmacies and healthcare suppliers.
• About Us (company story, people, expertise).
• Resources (quotes, contact forms, knowledge centre).

3. Compliance & Security

• Ensure the website is compliant with healthcare industry requirements and medically approved certifications.
• Build secure, scalable systems with user authentication and data protection.

4. Project Management

• Collaborate with Digital Consulting Venture and client leadership to scope, budget, and deliver within agreed timelines.
• Provide a transparent quote process and ensure strong ROI from the build.
• Benchmark functionality against industry leaders such as Aidacare.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Design, or related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in website development with e-commerce and portal features.
• Strong knowledge of secure login portals, CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Magento, or custom builds).
• Familiarity with compliance in healthcare, medical certifications, or regulated industries.

Desirable:

• Experience developing websites for wholesale, healthcare, or equipment hire businesses.
• Knowledge of NDIS integration and Australian healthcare provider requirements.
• Previous success in building scalable, ROI-driven websites.
