Job Description

Position Overview:

The Reservation Officer is responsible for handling all reservation inquiries and bookings, ensuring accuracy, handling flight reservations, ticket issuance, re-issuance, cancellations efficiency, and a high level of customer service. This role plays a vital part in maximising occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction by managing reservations through Amadeus and other communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Handle travel reservations, including flights, hotels, tours, visas, insurance and transportation for clients.

·        Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing accurate and timely information.

·        Process bookings, confirmations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently.

·        Maintain an up-to-date database of clients, bookings, and travel itineraries.

·        Keep up-to-date record of daily sales and transactions

·        Provide clients with accurate fare quotations, schedules, and seat availability.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–2 years of experience in flight reservations and ticketing.
  • Proficiency in Amadeus GDS system (mandatory).
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in bookings.
