About the Role:

Peek Word is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our growing team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of Search Engine Optimization and digital growth strategies. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Kathmandu. You will work closely with SEO specialists and content strategists to support SEO campaigns, research keywords, analyze competitors, optimize content, and assist in reporting results.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
Assist in on-page optimization: meta titles, meta descriptions, header tags, image alt tags, and internal linking.
Support content creation efforts with keyword recommendations and SEO best practices.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics (Google Analytics, Search Console).
Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Conduct backlink research and support link-building outreach.
Assist in reporting weekly and monthly SEO results and rankings.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing.
Pursuing or completing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field.
Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and any keyword research platforms.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics (a plus but not mandatory).
Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms is a plus.
