Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Counsellor based in Kathmandu. The Counsellor will be responsible for providing guidance and support to candidates seeking employment opportunities in New Zealand and Australia. Daily tasks include conducting counseling sessions, assessing candidate profiles, offering career advice, and assisting with the application and visa process. The Counsellor will also maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration policies and procedures for New Zealand and Australia.
Qualifications
- Over 2–3 years of experience in education consultancy, specializing in student counseling for New Zealand and Australia.
- Strong counseling and interpersonal skills, with a student-centered approach.
- In-depth knowledge of immigration policies and procedures for New Zealand and Australia.
- Proven ability to guide students through course selection, admission, and visa application processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Nepali.
- Skilled in building rapport with students, parents, and academic institutions.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficient in MS Office and other office productivity software.
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experienced in documentation, client handling, and maintaining student records.
