Key Responsibilities:
Spare Parts Stock Management
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels through regular physical verification.
- Monitor daily inflow and outflow of spare parts.
- Analyze consumption trends and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Implement FIFO/LIFO methods as appropriate for parts usage.
Billing and Documentation
- Prepare and issue accurate bills for spare parts issued internally or sold externally.
- Maintain proper documentation of parts requisitions and usage logs.
- Coordinate with the accounts team for reconciliation of parts-related billing.
Procurement and Vendor Coordination
- Place timely purchase orders based on stock analysis and requirements.
- Source reliable vendors and negotiate prices, quality, and delivery terms.
- Track order deliveries and ensure timely replenishment.
- Maintain and update vendor database and procurement records.
Required Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in spare parts/inventory management (automobile industry preferred).
- Proficient in inventory software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of automobile parts and workshop operations is a plus.
