If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team in Kathmandu as an Admissions Team Lead for a 1-year fixed-term contract.
This pivotal role will see you managing our international admissions team, driving the enrolment of new international students to prestigious ACAP and SAE Creative Media Institute campuses across Australia. You'll be instrumental in supporting your team and our network of agents and market managers, ensuring a seamless admissions process for our prospective students.
About the Role
As our Admissions Team Lead, you'll be at the forefront of our admissions process, mentoring your team and ensuring the accurate and compliant assessment of international student applications. You'll oversee thorough reviews of documentation, conduct necessary interviews and investigations using CRM and PRISMS records, and ensure strict adherence to all compliance requirements and enrolment processes. This role is based in our vibrant Navitas Kathmandu office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Mentor: Guide and support your admissions team to achieve enrolment targets and deliver exceptional service.
- Application Management: Oversee the accurate receipt, registration, and processing of student applications, ensuring timely dispatch of offer letters (within 48 hours when all documents are received).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with international education agents, the Associate Director, Admissions, and the Director, International Recruitment to optimize admissions strategies and processes.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure meticulous record-keeping in CRM (Salesforce) and Student Information Systems (Navigate), including accurate financial, CoE, and Visa validity information. Maintain a thorough understanding of industry regulatory environments, including the ESOS Act and National Code.
- Process Improvement: Drive projects and initiatives to enhance international admissions services, systems, and overall efficiency.
- Student Support: Provide expert guidance and advice to students regarding course changes, timetabling, withdrawals, and deferments.
- Inquiry Management: Respond effectively to personal and written inquiries from prospective students.
- PRISMS Data Entry: Accurately enter Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS) documentation.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in domestic or international student admissions, with a preference for prior team management experience within an educational or service sector.
- Customer Focus: A strong background in customer service, administration, and support, ideally within an education admissions environment.
- Organizational Prowess: Demonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Hands-on experience using Salesforce CRM and PRISMS is highly preferred.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A thorough understanding of the industry regulatory environment, including Government legislation such as the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act and National Code of Practice, as well as Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) requirements.
