Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive financial associate with strong knowledge of finance, accounts and Neplase Taxation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting financial planning and analysis functions. This role is ideal for a candidate with more than 2 years’ experience in accounting and financial management especially within the service industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Monitor and manage banking transactions, including reconciliations, fund transfers, and cash flow tracking.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies during internal and external audits.
• Process accounts payable/receivable and ensure proper documentation.
• Support tax preparation and filing processes in coordination with tax advisors.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Work closely with the finance team to improve financial processes and controls.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA running or Semi Qualified CA Preffered).
• more than 2 years’ of accounting experience, preferably in the Service sector.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, banking operations, Nepalese Taxation and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/NFRS).
• Familiarity with risk management and internal controls in financial institutions.
Salary: 30k-35k
