The Sales and Marketing Specialist at Yashi Labs Private Ltd. drives the promotion and growth of the Yashi Academy app, an innovative exam preparation platform for students in Nepal. This role focuses on crafting and executing marketing strategies to increase user acquisition, engaging with educational institutions, and collaborating with teams to meet growth targets. The specialist will leverage digital marketing, data analytics, and local market insights to position Yashi Academy as the leading edtech solution for students preparing for different license exams and language tests.


What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is defined by achieving measurable growth in user acquisition and engagement for the Yashi Academy app. This includes increasing app downloads by a certain margin, boosting user retention through targeted campaigns, and establishing partnerships with at least 30 educational institutions within the first year. The specialist will deliver data-driven marketing campaigns with a minimum 15% conversion rate on lead generation efforts and maintain a consistent brand presence across digital platforms. Positive feedback from users and partners, along with meeting or exceeding sales targets, will further indicate success.

The Sales and Marketing Specialist reports to the Head and collaborates closely with the development and customer success teams at Yashi Labs Private Ltd. This role is critical to expanding the reach of Yashi Academy, aligning marketing efforts with the company’s mission to revolutionize education through technology. By driving user growth and brand awareness, the specialist supports the organization’s goal of empowering students across Nepal with accessible, high-quality exam preparation tools.


Responsibilities


Design and Execute Marketing Campaigns: Develop targeted marketing strategies that highlight Yashi Academy’s interactive quizzes, real-time competitive learning, and AI-powered personalized assistance to drive user adoption.

Manage Digital Marketing Channels: Oversee social media platforms (e.g., X, Instagram, Facebook), content marketing, and app store optimization (ASO) to enhance app visibility and engagement.

Conduct Market Research: Analyze trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the Nepali education sector to inform marketing and sales strategies.

Foster Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, influencers, and community organizations to promote Yashi Academy and expand its reach.

Collaborate with Sales Teams: Work with sales colleagues to convert leads into active users, ensuring alignment with user acquisition and revenue goals.

Analyze Campaign Performance: Use data analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs), measure campaign effectiveness, and optimize strategies for continuous improvement.

Ensure Brand Consistency: Maintain a cohesive brand voice and messaging across all marketing materials, aligning with Yashi Academy's mission and values.


Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the edtech or education sector.

Digital Marketing Skills: Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms, CRM systems) and familiarity with app store optimization (ASO).

Analytical Abilities: Strong ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to optimize marketing efforts.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for creating compelling campaigns and engaging with stakeholders.

Creativity: Proven ability to develop innovative marketing strategies that resonate with diverse audiences.

Local Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the Nepali education system and cultural nuances to tailor marketing efforts effectively.
