Summary

Cedar Gate Services is looking for Data QA Engineers to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and quality of US healthcare data within our IT solutions. As a Data QA Engineer, you will contribute to testing, validating, and improving data processes while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and executing data quality tests and validation procedures to assess the quality of various datasets
• Collaborate with senior team members to build and maintain data quality rules and validations to identify data anomalies and inconsistencies
• Investigate data quality problems, assess their impact, and assist in determining appropriate remediation actions
• Contribute to the development and implementation of data remediation strategies to address data quality issues
• Assist in maintaining clear documentation of data quality processes, test cases, and outcomes
• Help prepare reports on data quality metrics and progress for internal stakeholders
• Learn and adopt data quality assurance best practices and contribute to process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with team members to optimize data quality assurance workflows and procedures
  
  

Required Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent)
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools
• Familiarity with data profiling and ETL processes
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within a data-focused environment
• Experience with data quality tools and frameworks is a plus
• Background in US healthcare and claim payment processes, including knowledge of industry standards such as HIPAA and experience with healthcare claims processing systems, is a plus
