Summary

Cedar Gate Services is looking for Software QA Engineers to join our team. This role is instrumental in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and performance of our US healthcare IT solutions. As a Software QA Engineer, you will engage in both manual and automated testing, analyze business and data requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality assurance initiatives and continuous process improvement

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze business and data requirements
• Conduct both manual and automated testing
• Prepare and review test data
• Report defects and provide updates on test status
• Assist in documenting software and data quality processes, test cases, and outcomes
• Help prepare quality metrics and progress reports for internal stakeholders
• Learn and implement quality assurance best practices, contributing to process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with team members to enhance software and data quality assurance workflows and procedures
  
  

Required Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1+ year of relevant experience
• Proficient in SQL scripting
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective cross-functional teamwork
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within a data-focused environment
  
  

Preferences

• Experience in the US healthcare domain and claim payment processes
• Familiarity with industry standards such as HIPAA regulations and healthcare claims processing systems
