Job Description
OverviewAn Accounts and Finance Consultant coordinates with the Accounts Executive in planning and executing the day- to-day financial operations of the company and ensuring accurate and timely reporting in compliance with all regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate is required to have a strong background in accounting, finance and taxation, excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining an organized and accurate financial records through booking keeping in SAP B1 including verification of such invoices after ensuring proper approval as per Company’s TOR
- Perform a regular reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor accounts, statutory accounts for accuracy of the financial statements.
- Prepare month end closure calculations and assist Account Executives in preparation and analysis of ETL reports for financial statements, budget etc.
- Verification of monthly commercial claims including collaboration with various departments to ensure the accuracy.
- Preparation of monthly VAT and TDS reports and ensure timely filing of returns.
- Review and weekly verification of travel and mobile reimbursement claims of the employee in accordance with the company’s policy.
- Conduct physical verification of expired and damaged inventory in relation to the importer’s claim.
- Respond to Vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Provide support in annual audit and assist in implementing any necessary changes or improvements to processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting and finance regulations and best practices, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Semi-Qualified CA or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office.
- Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar.
- Must be analytical in planning and maintaining the financial records, based on the gathered data and reports.
- Has a good command at understanding and solving financial problems.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and statutory regulations.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and Accounting ERP System (SAP B1).
- Highly structured in completing tasks within a fixed deadline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
