The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of accounting within the company. Job Description

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards.
  • Manage the company’s financial transactions, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Prepare tax-related documents, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings.
  • Assist in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and reports to auditors.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate cost allocation, inventory tracking, and financial compliance.
  • Ensure that all accounting activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Handle other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing company.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws in Nepal.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Good understanding of inventory management and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with accounting software systems used in the manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of Nepalese financial regulations and taxation policies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
