Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Accountant in New Baneshwor Office, Kathmandu. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for financial statements, analytical skills, finance, accounting software, and financial reporting tasks.
Job Description
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations of the organization
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets by accounting standards and organizational policies
- Verify and reconcile all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank statements, and credit card transactions
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop and implement financial strategies and make recommendations for improvement
- Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts, assisting in decision-making for fund allocation and investments
- Provide guidance and support to junior accountants, reviewing their work and ensuring accuracy
- Facilitate financial audits and assist in the preparation of tax returns
- Maintain financial documents and ensure timely and accurate record-keeping
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance or a related field
- Proficient in accounting software like Swastik Business Accounting Software, Taly and Xero, with advanced knowledge of Excel
- Financial Statements and Financial Reporting skills
- Analytical Skills
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Ability to work with accounting principles and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Working hours for this position are from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with one weekday off each week. Sometimes, you'll need to cover staff holidays during the midweek.
