Job Description
Job Purpose: Provide timely and accurate operation of specific accounting functions in coordination with Headoffice team members. Plan, organize, delegate and follow up work and duties. Secure proper working conditions, motivation and co-operation within the department and company.
Key Responsibility Area (KRA):
- Manage and maintain accounting records, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entry, general ledger, and other financial data.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly.
- Prepare the daily sales reports with supporting receipts
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities in a timely and professional manner.
- Petty cash handling and maintaining the expense along with receipts.
- Make timely debtors payments, maintain debtors’ collection report and with invoices.
- Prepare payment voucher and cheque preparation for all inventory suppliers and payments.
- Ensure timely payments of rent, utilities & other standard payments as per credit terms.
- Reconcile the accounts of all key suppliers & also audit the local suppliers on cash, inventory, cross check the prices vs bill setc.
- Preparing asset, liability and capital account entries by analyzing account information & maintaining and updating of company asset register.
- Assist the corporate office account team in accounting and year end finalization / audit.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy of information.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Ensure timely updating and return filled for TDS / VAT.
- Interact with internal and external auditors in compiling audits.
· Prepare financial status reports required and provide it to the supervisors with historical information & accurate financial reports as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualification:
· BBA/MBA- in management stream specialized in Account
Experience: 3 years of experience
Requirements:
· Knowledge about the good accounting system.
· Should have IT skills needed for a fluent email communication and an exchange via online forums or other software supported ways of communication.
· Should have good communication skill.
· Should be socially motivated and should be fluent in Nepali and English (written and oral)
